The FR903 is a custom gage that provides a quick and accurate flushness measurement. The flat end stylus is perfect for measuring the highest point of the fastener head for flushness after installation. The contact area of the flat stylus is generally sized to cover approximately 80% of the fastener’s head. The tripod bases listed in the table can be easily interchanged to clear the installed fastener head. This gage could be used in combination with any countersink depth or diameter gages in order to achieve greater control of the fastener installation process.
